Why it happens in phases
Cleaning a construction site all at once doesn't work — trades are still coming and going, and dust keeps settling. That's why professional post-construction cleaning follows three phases timed around the build. Each phase has a different job, and doing them in order is what gets a Lubbock, TX space truly finish-ready.
Phase 1: The rough clean
The rough clean happens once the major work is done but before final finishes go in. This is the heavy lifting: hauling out construction debris and leftover materials, sweeping and removing the bulk of the dust, and clearing floors and surfaces so the remaining trades — and the finish crews — can work in a clean environment. It's not pretty yet, but it clears the deck.
Phase 2: The final clean
This is the detailed clean most people picture. With finishes installed, we dust from the ceiling down — fixtures, vents, ledges, cabinets, baseboards — clean interior glass and window tracks, remove stickers, adhesive, and paint overspray, and detail restrooms, kitchens, and floors. By the end of the final clean, the space looks show-ready.
Phase 3: The touch-up clean
Between the final clean and move-in, a little more dust always settles and a few last trades leave marks. The touch-up clean is a light, final pass right before hand-off — fingerprints on glass, a smudge on a fixture, dust that resettled — so the space is spotless the moment your team or your client walks in.
